    Xbox controller not fully working on macbook


    Hey guys,

    I was just trying to test out xcloud on my MacBook. And I got all the way to the game select screen and my controller sticks were the only buttons that seemed to respond. Is this a known issue or am I missing something in the setup?

    I have also verified controller's Bluetooth is working fine by connecting the controller to a MacBook.

    Have you removed the device in the Bluetooth settings?

    Connect the controller once to the Xbox and then connect it back to your MacBook and it should work.

    It really wont work on any operating system other than windows 10. The windows 10 app is the only legitimate way to stream your xbox to play on the move. Personally i use a macbook with windows 10 bootcamped on it, native support for the controller is good,
    as is the ability to use game sound/ party chat through the macbook

    Could be a few problems.

    Connection issue with the cable itself.

    Or the PC not fully recognizing the controller.

    If the controller works on the console fully, then it is not the controller.
