Xbox controller moves too faster in dashboard and in shooter games the joysticks always...

No controller support at launch for a dual joystick shooter, and in game microtransactions? Ew.

One thing I don't quite get is how the current Xbox controller hinders RPGs. Borderlands is only an RPG in the loosest terms. It's really a shooter with some character progression. I certainly don't know anyone that has a problem playing...say...Skyrim with
this controller, either. How exactly is a wrist-breaking joystick arrangement going to make things faster than the old thumbstick?

Try mimicking the actual movements you're going to have to make. There's no way that's going to be faster than small, precise thumb movements. And I'm still wondering how you'd hold the thing.

Okay, I tested it. If I barely move the joystick, it won't do anything, but it's such a miniscule dead-zone, it's not really worth mentioning; no game would ever need to be that sensitive. The only reason it's there in the 1st place is because the bottom
plastic edge of the joysticks have to move down (as you push the joystick up, down, left, or right) to touch the sensor inside of the controller to activate the signal so that it knows you're moving the joystick - that's all; that would be true for ANY controller.

Do you by chance have a second controller signed in, that is pushing up?

On the main Xbox menus, multiple controllers are "fighting" over the control of the dashboard, and every controller can move the cursor.

When you start a game, each controller is assigned to a specific player, and only that player is controlled. So if a second controller is always pushing up, it won't affect control in a game of the first controller anymore.

I liked more resistance for shooters, found i had more control and could be more precise, getting used to them now but wish the diameter was a little wider on the joysticks
