    Xbox controller mic not working


    The headset is fine as it is working in different devices. However, the controller is now not working and no one can hear us - issues with sound. It was working fine for a few weeks. I have checked on microsoft website and it is under warranty. You can click
    to request a replacement which we have done. However, there is no confirmation to say this has been done, no emails etc. How do i know if a new controller is being sent? I am unable to contact anyone via the website by phone for some reason. Please advise?

    Home Page of my XBOX 1S shows a muted mic...HELP!!!

    I have tried many ways and several times to unmute the mic icon on the top right corner of my homepage. My headphones, nor my mic works. My controller is wireless but my headphones/mic plugs directly into the xbox controller. It was working fine
    a few days ago and now it's not working at all. The headset is new. Any ideas?
    Try turning the xbox off and then turn the console back on with your mic already plugged into your controller. If that doesnt work try going into settings and see if updating the controller works

    Microphone muted - no sound on hearphone

    That icon does not mean your Mic is muted. All it means is that no mic is detected. My sugestion is to try the mic with another controller. Reconnect you controller two your Xbox. I did this when it was not working for me.

    is possible that with anot wired connection mic is excluded ?

    Both mics are xbox official headsets and controllers, one of the controllers is a day one edition but just bought another brand new official xbox controller to see if that was the problem. The Mic just randomly stopped working one evening. And yes the

    Xbox One PDP Prismatic Afterglow USB controller has buzzing sound transmitting over mic

    to fix the problem with all wired controllers, simply unplug the mic and controller, then plug the MIC in first, then plug the controller back in. Worked for me. Hopefully it works for you.
