Xbox Controller Menu and Views buttons not working in Remote play/Cloud Gaming

Please try this to see if that does the trick:
Reinstall your controller driver:
Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager > search something like Xbox controller category (or similar) > expand the category using the little arrow (">") > select delete/uninstall driver

Click OK, restart your PC and reconnect the controller.

If the issue persists, reinstall Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator driver.

You can do it following previous steps, but now select Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator.

Can take a while, would be great to wait up to 15 minutes before trying again

Based on the description, you are having issue with the controllers used during remote play where some of the buttons do not function correctly. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. Does joysticks and triggers buttons work when using remote on other devices?

2. What type of controllers are you using? Can you provide make and model?

3. Have you tried connecting the connecting to other devices like through Windows Pc or Xbox console and no issues with the button function

It is possible that the type of controller does not fully support some of the functions of the button during remote play and cloud gaming. When playing Xbox games with cloud gaming and remote play, we recommend using an Xbox Wireless Controller connected via Bluetooth or USB cable. Many other types of wired and Bluetooth controllers can also work for cloud gaming. Controllers that are identified as Official Xbox and Designed for Xbox are optimized for the best cloud gaming experienceand remote play. Verified controllers will work for remote play and cloud gaming but may be less optimal.

I hope there's a new update for the media remote for better functionality of the bluray player, menu buttons work perfectly if using the xbox controller, but using the remote hitting play/pause twice just to bring up the menu and selecting scene or main
menu., plus no quick way to get rid of the menu feedback unless using a controller. While movie is playing. Disappointed so far in M$

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.

I just got the xbox one IR remote and can confirm the menu and pop up menu buttons on the remote still do not work!! What a waste of money this remote was, these buttons work on the connected glass app on my iPad but not on the remote, unacceptable...
