    Xbox Controller mapping is wrong


    My xbox controller seems to be acting weird on gta pc such as when i move the left joystick upwards it opens my phone which the up dpad should do and when i spam a to run it just continuously records or when i hold lb down to open my weapon wheel it goes into sneak mode which the left joystick should do when clicked if anyone knows how to help then please tell me as im confuesed as to why my controller is doing this

    Are you using a third party software to map your controllers buttons? For example Xinput or similar

    In the meantime, try creating a new local administrator user and try using the controller from there

    ive tried using a ps4 controller instead and the issue still seems to be happening and i cant use the xbox controller via bluetooth as its a wired controller

    Hey sorry it took so long gta is a 106gb game and when i was talking to you it was 00:00 and it was gonna take 5 hours to install so i left it over night but anyway i tried my controller again and the mapping is still not fixed is there any other solutions you would recommend?
