    Xbox Controller keeps disconnecting


    About 2 weeks ago, both of my xbox 1 controllers started randomly disconnecting. I have tried EVERY problem solving technique I could find online to try and fix the issue.

    Just to clarify, I have tried:

    - holding the power button for 10 seconds and then restarting a little while later

    - doing updates on both controllers

    - updates on xbox

    - soft reset on xbox (the one where you keep the game installs but it resets everything else)

    - new batteries (several different sets)

    - connecting via cable (xbox official)

    The problem still persists even when connected via a cable, though slightly less frequently than when using the wireless connection it still makes playing online practically impossible.

    It started so randomly so I can't even put my finger on a particular event that has caused it. This has been driving me mad, I have no idea what the fault could be and feel like I've exhausted all options bar 'just buy a new xbox' which seemed to pop up
    on various threads. Somebody please have a miracle cure.
