    Xbox controller keeps blinking and then just turns off


    My Xbox controller keeps blinking and then just turns off. When I press it (console off) it turns on but immediately shuts down but console will start. So if I hold in xbox button it starts blinking and then I try just to connect console and joystick with button thing on both of em but controller turns off. I tried other controller but that one works good. Can anyone help me I’ve been watching videos and stuff but none of it helped. Please help me find the way thorough.

    How to turn off the controller

    I just use the options menu screen from there i select turn off the controller or just wait till it turns off when inactive my controller does glitch out sometimes mostly when trying to power up the console with the controller but instead the controller
    LED keeps blinking without syncing i believe

    I forgot to mention that I am able to turn on the console using the controller but the controller will just keep blinking and not connect.

    No its not fast. It blinks slow like it usually does before it powers off but instead of blinking once or twice like normal it just keeps going.

    I should add too that the controller light stays on and connected too. It wont turn off either. I’ve tried the go-to hard reset as well and it didn’t fix the issue.

    Yes, it will keep on blinking when you are downloading games while it is off. Try syncing the controller again with the console because as long as the controller is already synced with the console, it should be able to turn it on.

    Additional info:

    When the console is turned off I hold the guide button to turn it on as I normally would (so the console is picking up the controller) but it wont synch, it still just blinks, spins as if loading then blinks again.
