To remap the Xbox One controller buttons is quite simple:

Go to Settings

Clicking the Menu button and then going to Settings

Then select the Devices option

click on the control

Scroll down and click Button Mapping

Modify as you see fit

You mean from the what do you want to do screen or pressing and holding the guide button 6 seconds till it turns off? Because there's that way of turning off the controller by pressing and holding the guide button 6 seconds till it turns off i believe
that was for the pc because the pc doesn't have the what do you want to do screen options where it says turn off the controller turn off console or restart console so the only option to turn off the controller on pc is pressing and holding guild guide button

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Install the latest updates for your Windows PC and Xbox controller.

Check if the controller is compatible with your Windows PC by visiting the Xbox website.

Make sure that the controller is in pairing mode. This can be done by holding down the pairing button located on the top of the controller until the Xbox button blinks rapidly.

Try a different USB cable and a different USB port on your PC.

Check if the controller is functioning properly by trying it on another Xbox console or PC.

If the controller is still not working, you can try resetting it by holding down the Xbox button and the pairing button for 15 seconds.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that the controller is defective and needs to be replaced.

I do use the same menu and turn off the controller from there but weren't you all unaware of that feature of pressing and holding the guide button for 5 6 or 10 seconds till the controller turns off existed or can anyone tell me if this is a glitch or
a hack i doubt it's both because when you press and hold the guide button for 5 or 6 seconds till the controller turns off is like when you power cycle the console when you hold the power button for 10 seconds

connect wireless controller to PC. The guide has many troubleshooting links within. Have you got a new controller, and it possibly not Bluetooth?
