Xbox controller home button not working!

Discus and support Xbox controller home button not working! in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have tried a hard reset but my Xbox controllers home button never works unless I push it really hard.Can any one give me tips on how to make it work...     Xbox controller home button not working!


    I have tried a hard reset but my Xbox controllers home button never works unless I push it really hard.Can any one give me tips on how to make it work properly again without dismantling the controller or the use of tools.

    xbox controller home button issue wont resolve

    OK strange new development/observation

    it appears if i plug the controller into the xbox via usb, than still the home button doesn't work, HOWEVER if i remove the batteries making the controller dependent on the xbox for power then the HOME BUTTON WORKS IMMEDIATELY! while plugged into the xbox
    with a working home button if i put the batteries back into the controller, without hitting anything, the home button stops working again.

    and remember the controller will turn the xbox on via home button even while not connected by USB...

    what in the world is up with this controller?!

    When you restarted the console, did you just push the power button or hold it down? If you haven't already, try holding it down for 10 seconds until it shuts down, then reboot it. If you've tried that and are still having trouble, you'll want to start a
    new thread so you can get the most help.

    Just came across this issue with the Xbox button not working. It was working fine just 2 hours ago I don't get it. I've tried restarting the console I've switched controllers and even went out and bought a new controller still nothing. WTF!!! Someone please

    Controller Home Button Not Working

    I started having the same issue the other day. Controller was fine early in the day and then home button would not work later that night. It will turn my Xbox and controller on. It wont bring up the dashboard or the option to turn off controller or console.
    I have charged the battery pack, tried to use AA batteries and tried to update all to no avail.
