    Xbox controller? Headset!? Problems either way


    Hi, I have two controllers for my Xbox one... And typically I have problems with both. One won't turn on and the light very faintly comes on untill I release the home button, it's as if it's struggling to take power. The other, the headset won't fit into
    the bottom, it jiggles and feels loose although I can't see any visible cause, has anyone any resolution for any of these problems??

    Xbox One Stereo Headset/Adapter not loud enough? Help.

    I just bought the official Xbox One stereo headset which comes with the headset adapter. Ive tried the headset, and also tried some beats solo 2 on the adapter which suprisingly work. I just want to enjoy some loud story gaming without waking up my roomates. The problem is, with either headset, the max volume just does not seem to be loud enough. Why wont the headset get louder? the max level is stiill sounding low, does anyone else feel this way about the adapter?

    Isabella - Do you remember what kind of adapter you had to buy? Was it an Xbox brand adapter or just a generic? I don't care either way, but I'm not really sure what to Google for, in order to find the correct adapter!

    Morris Code - I actually wonder if I'm having this problem because I bought Turtle Beaches and not another brand instead. A friend of mine uses a different brand of headset and they don't have this problem, either.

    I have never run into that problem but their is two ways to mute in party and on headset but they both mute and if its not reading a headset and it works in another controller then it's the controller if not it's the headset

    Hi There,

    Unfortunately, if you are connecting your headset to your monitor there is no way for your monitor to pass voice audio to your Xbox. You are either going to have to connect it to your controller or connect your headset to your Xbox instead of the monitor.
    You could purchase a USB hub that is compatible with your Xbox so that you get more USB ports, this may solve your problem.

    Sounds like a headset or a xbox controller problem ... do u have another controller to try the headset in to see if its the controller that is the problem? Or do u have another headset to plug into the controller to see if the other headset is the problem?

    Hi seth,

    Are you able to test the headset on something else? Like on your phone or a computer? If sound only comes out of one speaker then the headset is probably damaged, if both speakers work then its the controllers fault. The controller could either be damaged or
    dirty. You could look up safe way to clean your xbox controller. Hope this helps! :D
