Xbox controller & Headset/party issues

It seems there alot of issues that have a similar vein here in these forums, i am also having quite a few that is really making me regret buying an Xbox.

Firstly - my xbox controller disconnects alot - it will randomly connect back, most of the time i will then lose my sound in my headset/ and or my mic will go (it might show thats its working, but wont work in any partychat etcc), but the controller will
work. Then, every so often when it comes back on( the light), my controller will be completely useless, it wont respond on the xbox at all and if i try and connect other controllers, neither will these. A hard reset is the only thing that will fix it.

I have three controllers (2 scufs and 1 normal) it happens with all of them.

When i do a hard reset - everything will work again for a random indiscriminate amount of time - sometimes it will work for an hour! Other-times, not even minutes.

I cannot use rthe play and charge cable AT ALL - if i do i lose the ability to have any sound through my headset - and it still does the random disconnect WHILST plugged into the console. Completely mental.

This has been happening for a long time now, i have been putting up with it for a long time, its honestly not even worth trying anymore, i think the issue is progressively getting worse as well.

I have bought to try and fix this : 2 additional controllers, 1 new headset adapter, 1 new headset, re-arranged my whole room.

Its not enjoyable to play any of the games i have purchased (pretty much every FPS that has been released) as i cant talk to my mates and play multiplier.

I have wasted £1000 - Unless MS actually fixes this problem, i don't believe it can be a hardware issue as everything used to work and everything works after a hard reset

Please can anybody help me?

Even if its just to get a full refund for EVERYTHING i have purchased, i will go back to PC gaming or i will for the first time in my life, buy a playstation!

XBox One controller randomly pauses

All of this experience has come while playing Call of Duty.

My XBox One controller will randomly pause my game. This makes my party chat happen through the Kinect and I can hear the regular game chat through my headset. The same thing will happen if (while in party chat) I plug in my controller to charge (I have
the play & charge). I start a party chat & everything is fine until I plug in my charge cable and I hear my party through both my headset and Kinect. My party can only hear me through the Kinect until I exit the party and restart it. The problem happens
every hour or two when I'm in party chat while using my fully-charged controller. The game will pause and my party chat is transferred through the Kinect. I cannot hear my party through the headset & they can only hear me through the Kinect. I can then
hear only the game chat through my headset.

Thoughts?

 

Headset/Mic Not Working

Thanks for reaching out to us! Thanks for checking out the headset on other devices and checking the network connection as well. Before we begin, I have a few questions:

• What type of headset is being used? (Turtle Beach, Afterglow, Stereo headset, Chat headset, etc)
• What type of controller is being used? (Special Edition Controller, Standard Xbox Controller, 3rd party controller, etc)
• Under Devices & Accessories > ... , does it show the headset connected and is "Volume" available?

Please try another controller with the console and let us know if the headset works with the other controller. Does the headset work with In-game chat or does it not work for Party and in-game chat?

Make sure to change the batteries in the controller as well. Here is a link to help with Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting.
