    Xbox controller headset jack no longer working


    How long are Xbox One controllers guaranteed for and how do you go about getting one replaced if still under warranty. We bought a new Xbox one last Christmas (2017) and the controller will no longer work with the headset so we can't talk to other players
    any more. The headset is an official Xbox item and it works with other controllers.

    Turtle beach x12 mic not working

    Do you have them connected correctly?

    In order to get the mic working you need to connect the 36" long mini jack cable that came with the headset, from the jack socket on the in-line volume control to the jack socket on the controller.

    what type of headset adapter do I need for a Sennheiser U320?

    So long as the jack on your headset is 3.5mm then the standard Xbox adapter should be fine to use your headset on the Xbox One. However, if you're so inclined they do now have a new controller that has a 3.5mm jack built in so there would be no adapter
    needed.

    Accessories have a 90 day warranty. If your console is registered you can set up a repair online otherwise you'll need to contact support.

    You can go to https://devicesupport.microsoft.com and sign in with your account.

    If not already done so, register your console, and choose that console.

    From the menu choose that you have trouble with an accessory with that console, and choose the controller model from the list.

    If you're asked for the serial number for the controller, you can find that in the battery compartment.

    You can go to https://devicesupport.microsoft.com and sign in with your account.

    If not already done so, register your console, and choose that console.

    From the menu choose that you have trouble with an accessory with that console, and choose the controller model from the list.

    If you're asked for the serial number for the controller, you can find that in the battery compartment.

    no headset working on Xbox one

    Its a design flaw. The 3.5mm jack socket isn’t fixed in place inside the controllers. We have 3 xbox ones and 6 controllers, 3 of them no longer pick up the headsets through the jack. I did take one apart and cleaned the connection up on the circuitboard
    and pins on the jack socket.. it worked for a while but constant use just knocks it loose again.

    USB headsets do not work with Xbox One. The only ones that will work are ones that use a 3.5mm jack with the controller or one of their (Xbox) certified headsets.

    You should have with the headset a separate jack lead that connects from the in-line volume control to the xbox controller.

    Chat will only work with the headset connected to the controller!
