    Xbox controller having sync issues


    Hey all so my volcano shadow controller has been behaving real strange lately. it seems to not work wireless with my Xbox one X and only connects when I use my play and charge kit. tried re syncing no result restarting the console works....for about 10 minutes

    I do plan on taking it in to get it checked and replaced at my local shop but I thought I'd see if there was anyone else with any idea as what could be wrong first.

    I've resorted to using the controller wired to prevent any disconnects - Spoke with support and they seem to think its interference?

    Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the

    Thank you I have just done this and it seems to be working. The question is how long cause as I said a regular restart works for a while so I am hoping a hard restart will work longer or forever.

    Xbox One X controller

    This happens every now and then, you can sync the second controller and it should recognize it. Once you sync the controller you shouldn't have an issue.
