    So recently after the 9/3/2020 update ive found that my xbox one elite controller would stop sending controls to the xbox... but when i connect my phone using the xbox app the controller on the app works...The xbox controller light stays on as if its its
    connected even after being plugged into the xbox using a plug and play lead i got with the elite controller... ive tried just about everything i can find online from trying to reset the mac address to restarting the xbox,... restarting the xbox works for awhile
    like 10mins before the glitch comes back...yes the xbox is old but hasnt really been touched other than turning it on and switching out discs....if anyone has an ideas about how to fix this issue im all ears because im truly stuck with this one... Another
    thing to add is that prior or during this glitch at one point the wifi stopped and started to work im just hoping to not spend to much money on the xbox as it is about 3 years old i believe...hope any answers can help anyone else having the same issue

    each time it's freeze, I press the xbox button on my controller and my controller vibrate, I wait 1 minute and then the screen goes black and the xbox completly freeze.

    Hi,just to be more clear,this is my dads xbox and after he tells me to stop playing,his controller freezes a few times then it stops freezing.This is with any controller and it doesn't freeze on the other Xbox.

    After a while with a cable, the controller will freeze with the Xbox light still on while the OS thinks that the device is working normally. In the game/program, the last button I pressed would freeze (i.e. walking forward indefinitely) and the controller would be unresponsive until I unplug it and re-plug it back in. Same thing happens in Bluetooth, except after it freezes, it will reconnect.

    I enjoy the game, but the freezing really is out of control. Froze a ton in campaign and I freeze in multiplayer. Contacted support and was told it was my xbox or the disc, etc etc.

    Hi there,

    when you are trying to use the controller on the Xbox 360, do you do that with or without the wireless usb adapter.

    Be sure to try it without when trying, since it shouldn't be needed on the 360 console. Use the pairing buttons on console and controller to establish a connection like show here:
