    Xbox Controller for Disability


    My daughter (who is 6) tries to play with her mild cerebral palsy that weakens her left side and she loves it but I would love to see a controller out there for disability that I could purchase for her to be able to handle better. She been asking me if
    there is one out there for her that she could handle better. We saw a video online that they have talked about creating but not sure if it was even on the market for that.

    I would love to see more things out there that are disability friendly so everyone can feel they can be in the gaming world. It's a great release from reality sometimes! My husband is an active gamer and I would consider myself a moderate gamer!

    Apparently Xbox One accessories are supposes to be available starting next week, so hopefully, with any luck, some modders will be able to get their hands on a controller and get you some more conrete info by launch.

    For the xbox there is now the Adaptive controler, please take a look at it on the Microsoft page Xbox Adaptive Controller | Xbox

    The adaptive controller is designed for people with disabilities and can be customized with all kinds of peripherals so it will fit to the needs of the gamer.

    First of all, I am truly sorry to hear about your left arm. Currently nothing has been announced for disabled players, but that doesn't mean we aren't listening. If you haven't had a chance already please be sure to check out
    xbox.uservoice.com and leave your feedback there. Our teams are always listening and that is the best place to provide your ideas and feedback.

    Currently the Xbox accessories app allows you change the button layout, which may of some help for the short term though!
