Xbox controller disconnects, then signs me out of Live

This has been happeining for a couple of weeks now. I dtart playing a game (GTA5 or Battelfeild) and about 5-10mins into playing the game my controller disconects, abd while its searching for my console i get signed out of Xbox live, or it says i’ve “lost
connection due to an unknown network error” It doesnt happen when i’m on Netflix or Hulu. Just when im playing games. Ive tried hard wiring my controller to my Xbox, and it stays connected, but again, after 5-10mins of playing it signs me out of my account
and kicks me from online. I have cleaerd my cache and reset my xbox. Nothing is working, and it’s extremely frustrating not being able to use my xbox for anything other than TV.

Ive never had a problem with my controllers staying connected until now, and i have never had a controller disconnect and then kick me off Live before it reconnects, but thats what’s happening every time it disconnects. It sounds stupid, and i have NO idea
how the two are connected, but this is what’s happening.

Please help.

X1 Desperate Help !!

I'll start up a game and in about 5 minutes or so my controller disconnects. I've figured out that every time I see my controller disconnect, that live actually disconnects as well. Does anyone know how the controller and live are related? I need a fix desperately!! I never had the problem before only started about a month ago. Don't know why I'm getting disconnected from live

Live and your controller shouldn't have any sort of connection from what I understand.

Try these fixes:

Hard reset your Xbox

Update your controller

Make sure the controller is charged

I've tried hard resetting and updating and the controller is charged. I don't understand why that every time my Xbox disconnects from live that my controller disconnects as well. For starters I don't even know why my live is disconnecting...

Try a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If that doesn't help try with another controller to help to determine where the problem is with the console or the controller.

I honestly thought it worked because i didnt get kicked off for about an hour then it started again and this time i was signed out and told "to sign in using a controller"and it still disconnected me from xbox live at the same time so overall it got worse.

im getting an Xbox error code 8015d02e and every time i try to sing in it says disconnected from Xbox live .. i was just recently playing a game on a cord controller but i want to play wireless so i turd on the other controller but it said player 2 so i
singed out on cord controller and signed in on with the wireless controller .but it still said player 2 so i cutoff me Xbox and when i got back on i wouldn't let me sign in

Yeah, I tried updating the firmware about a week ago. There WAS an update that it needed, but since then the problem has remained.
