    Xbox controller disconnection


    Hi all,

    I recently bought an Xbox 1S, with disk drive in the black friday sales - new. Initially everything was okay, but in the past 2 months there's been connection issues. (I've been away so not used the Xbox for around a month).

    The included controller frequently disconnects, often connecting initially for a few minutes, and then either unable to connect (even after re-pairing) or disconnects again shortly after. I've plugged a USB cable in and everything works wired, and all updates
    are installed. I can connect the controller to my surface laptop without issue.

    I also recently bought a controller from Game, and the same issues are happening, often with both controllers disconnecting at the same time. There is nothing blocking the controllers and xbox, and they are roughly 4 metres apart.

    Any help? I'm out of ideas!

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.
