Xbox controller disconnecting from console

Hey all

Been having an issue for a few months now. Every 2-3 days my xbox series X controllers will randomly disconnect from the series X console. The controller will go unresponsive, then the white xbox button will start blinking, indicating the connection is gone. After 5-10 seconds it will pair up again on its own. Steps I have tried below:

- Tried two different xbox series X controller. Same issue

- Updated OS on console, Updated firmware on controllers

- Moved console away from wifi router

- No objects in between controllers and console

- Placed warranty service call into MS and got the console replaced. new console does the same thing as well. Also occured with my one X before these.

I live in a condo complex, and there are at least 2-3 dozen other wifi signals (2.4G and 5G) in range of my devices. Is it possible interference is causing this. Would disabling my 5G wifi band help at all. Not sure what else i could do here. Thanks.

I will try disabling the 5G wifi. As for the controller, I have tried 2 different controllers. Both encounter the same issue. I have also replaced the console through warranty and that did not help either. Let see if this wifi change works. Any other options you can think of?

Does the controller turn on both consoles as well? I can think of two possible alternate explanations:

1. Your controller is connected to a specific XBL profile, which is logged onto or connected to both consoles.

Try removing the profile from one of the consoles, and see if this fixes the issue.

2. Someone has synced your controller to the other console without your knowledge.

I would recommend disconnecting the controller from both consoles. Disconnect the Xbox you don't want to be controlled by your controller from it's power source. Then resync your controller to the other Xbox.

Have you tried connecting the controller to the Xbox with a USB cable? maybe the controller needs an update?
