XBox controller charging station USB-C

It depends what charging station you mean.

If it's a charging station that plugs into the Micro USB port of the current Xbox One controllers, then it won't work, as the new controllers have an USB C type connector instead of the Micro USB connector.

If it's a third party charging station that comes with a special battery pack that has charging contacts on the outside, it might be possible that it still works.

But since you can use your existing Xbox One controllers on the Series X directly, you shouldn't need to use the new controller type, unless you really need to use the new share button.

So you can still use a Xbox One controller with a Xbox One charging station on the Xbox Series X.

I u understand that the Series X controller will be using a USB C connector to charge the battery (same as the Elite 2 controller), so charging stations that use micro USB won't work.

I havent ever came across any of the types that you are looking for. I use a venom charging dock that the controllers rest into to charge.

AFAIK only the Nintendo Switch is using USB-C right now. Wished Xbox would use it as well, but alas......

All of the ones I can find on Amazon charge with the metal plate connectors- not with the USB-C at the top. Could you link me to one?
