Xbox controller buttons

Ok theres this one weird thing the Xbox one does I'm not sure if this is how the console functions but when I select a game app or option and pressing and holding the action A. Button when selecting them wouldn't launch until I release the A button when
holding for that long same thing goes for the other buttons B X or Y when in games as well such as halo 5 guardians when switching weapons if I press and hold the Y button when switching would do the same it wouldn't switch until I release the button this
even happens when in the menu screen too if i select restart console and again holding the A button it wouldn't initiate restart until I release the A button as well crazy function I'll tell you that i didn't know about this back then since I didn't have the
time or interest to play around with the buttons on the controller

Sync the Controller:
To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.

When your Xbox is on, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller (the button you press to turn the controller and console on) until the controller vibrates, then press the View button (the small button to the left of the Xbox button on your controller).
This should turn off the magnifier.

It already got one recently i believe this how the console functions i called support before and they tested their Xbox one console and it did the same but still it's weird though there's also another thing that concerns me and it's on every Xbox one console
model x etc and that's the hidden developer settings other people found this before with the bumpers and triggers combination on the controller in the console info settings

To unpair it, press and hold the pair button on top of the controller for a few seconds until it vibrates twice.

Then, pair it again.

Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button.

Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox.

Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button (a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.

That means it's searching for a console.

The Xbox button stays lit once it's connected
