Xbox controller becoming unresponsive when the keyboard comes up.

Hey there! I would first try a full reboot. If you have the New Xbox One Experience, open the guide, go down to Settings, then Restart console. If you're on the original experience, go to Settings, Power, Restart Xbox.

If that doesn't help, go to Turn off console instead, and unplug the power from the back of the console for 5 minutes

Again, the game is NOT freezing, nor is the process becoming unresponsive.

It is simply not registering the input from my connected keyboard.

The problem is that the onscreen keyboard or virtual keyboard will not appear whenever I try to search, enter passwords, or text the virtual keyboard never appears the cursor flashes a few times then stops the controller is completely unresponsive the only responsive button on the controller is the home button in the center of the controller which pulls up an onscreen menu that I still can't navigate because no other buttons on the controller are responsive but like I previously said this is only temporary but as soon as I need to pull up the virtual keyboard it happens all over again my virtual keyboard will not appear onscreen

The little buttons on the back that slide up and down to control how far down the triggers can go have both fallen down inside the controller, the joystick has become unresponsive, and it keeps disconnecting from the xbox during play.

I have same problem. Already went through three Xbox One Xs. Latest build 1711 did not fix it.

Ok....i read something and cant try it now but wanna share it with you: Put your Xbox directly into the wall power plug and NOT into a multiple power cable (We say Steckerleiste in Germany) should fix it!! Some users say it works on Facebook.

Maybe give it a go......?!

Already tried that. Didn’t work either.
