Xbox Controller Audio Issues

I have two Xbox one controllers; one halo themed one, and the patrol tech controller as well. When I have my headset plugged into my halo controller, I have no issues. My recently bought patrol tech controller, however, does not play audio through my headset
whenever I have it plugged in. Doesn’t anybody know why, have a solution, or have a similar problem? Thanks.

Controller audio issues

I am using turtle beach Px22 on a NEW "Camoflage" controller. If I have the voice preferences set to "through headset only" I cannot hear chat at all. If I set it "through speakers or both" then I have chat audio. I do not have this problem on a different
controller. Support suggests returning the PX22 to turtle beach. HELP!

xbox controller audio mic catching audio from game

hi there was woundering if anyone else is having issues with audio on the xbox one controller i have earbuds with a mic and yes the mic works fine i can here my audio fine but when im playing any game online multiplayer my mic catches the audio of my game
and does not stay silent also on my 4k lg tv b7a series when i plug in for audio on my xbox controller it does not work at all no audio but mic works

Are you seeing this issues with an adapter? What type of headset are you using and do you see the same issues if you use that controller wired to the console?

I have this same issue. I tried plugging the problem controller to the Xbox but still no audio.

Update: Wireless controller had no audio issues.

Addition: Now audio issues have mysteriously vanished while using Wired controller, will restart Xbox to test something.

Update: Audio Issues did not return after restart, will do a power cycle to test further.

On the Accessories app when I select Audio the levels have been altered. As i said to get decent audio from my headphones i need to have the controller audio and in game controller audio set to 100%. This suggests either an issue with the headphones [where
there was none before with regular xbox one controllers] or something with how the elite 2 handles audio. Can it be anything else?

Hello are do your controllers have the built in audio jack or are you using an audio adapter to plug your headsets into the controllers? If it is the same audio adapter used on both controllers that might be the issue.

Hi blueamcat, thank you for your answer, I saw on Xbox support page they said that I should be able to have audio on both controllers, is this because im not using official headphone from Microsoft? So now the solution will be either I use a splitter or
I get a speaker.
