Good news is that you don’t have to find any PIN anywhere to fix this, but only update your Xbox One controller driver. Many a time drivers are a mismatch with the Windows 10 version and cause this sort of problem.

If you are connecting via bluetooth, you could try 0000 or 1234, those generally are the standard pins for devices

Also make sure that your Windows 10 is up to date (currently Version 1809). You can check that by pressing Windowskey + R and typing "winver" in the window and pressing OK.

If you have an older version of Windows 10 (especially older than 1709), you need to update your Windows 10, as only the newer Windows 10 versions work with the Xbox controller connected via Bluetooth.

Xbox Controller Asking for a Pin

    Hi,

You will be asked for a PIN when connecting your wireless Xbox One controller via Bluetooth on Windows 10 if your Bluetooth drivers are not updated. It is also possible that you have to reset the controller to remove the PIN. To resolve your concern, restart
your controller by following the steps below:

Power off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the controller for 6 seconds.
Press the Xbox button again to power it back on.
Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
You can also update your Bluetooth drivers by following the steps on this

Alternatively use a usb cable to sync your controller first to the windows 10 device
