    Xbox controller and internet simultaneously disconnecting


    As the title says my internet keeps disconnecting simultaneously when my controller also disconnects. So far u have tried hard reseting my console and also clearing Mac address. If I sit at xbox home in a party it will not do it, however if I play a game
    whilst in an xbox party it will disconnect. I have not tested to see if it will do it whilst I'm not in a party and playing a game yet. It has been doing this for over a year now and have contacted xbox support twice about it now. Both times I was told to
    clear my Mac address.

    Ok so my xbox one controller keeps disconnecting me from Xbox live and blinks for about 3 more seconds and I've looked every where on the internet but I can't find any fixes please help me.

    My xbox keep on disconnecting from my internet, then reconnecting and then disconnecting all while being lan line connected. What is going on?

    Just replying to say that it also just done it when I was playing a game and not in a party

    Sorry for replying again but it doesn't disconnect when my controller is wired up which is weird

    Hello JackoSmaName!

    If this happens consistently, then I would say the best thing for you to try is trying a soft reset.

    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and
    keep my games and apps.

    Follow the steps here on
    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One     and let us know how that helps with the issue



    If that does not help, it might be that there is something wrong with your hardware that would need to be serviced.

    You are definitely not alone, it has to be a console issue as all my controller disconnect simultaneously.

    When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?
    I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

    Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
    have a Internet connection set up.

    I miss play GTA V... :(
