Xbox Controller, analog stick problem

Hi everyone,

I am having an issue with my Xbox controller. I know there are already some posts about drifting, but I don't know it does apply here.

Basically even if the analog sticks are in the central position, sometimes it's like I'm moving them. I'll explain myself better:

E.g. I'm playing Far Cry 5, so with he right analog I should "look around". Even if I don't press it, the guy starts to look around autonomously, as if I was moving the stick.

Do you know any suggestion on how to fix the problem?

Xbox one controller has one flaw

When you compare the xbox one controller to the ps4 controller, the xbox one controller has one flaw.

More of a health and safety problem actually.

The "r3" right analog stick on the xbox one controller takes a bit of force to push it in, alot more force compared to the ps4 controller. ps4 controller right analog stick, you can push it in many times with out any repercussions to your wrists.

When you need too use the r3 analog stick on the xbox one controller to do things repeated in a game , such as go to third person while you are driving a tank. You press r3 in todo that.

 

XBOX ONE Elite controller right analog stick malfunction

Elite controller barely used, right analog stick won't work at all. Happened suddenly while playing BF1. Done recommended (by microsoft) troubleshooting including controller update. When attempting to register the problem in microsoft device management, I'm
only left with various options to purchase new replacable parts, which obviously isn't the problem. The analog stick does not appear jammed, nor has any trauma befallen the controller. Software problem? Is there anywhere to send the controller for repairs?

 

I have this exact same problem with every single Xbox 360 controller I have (I didn't have it with the old original Xbox controllers or any other game system I have though). I don't now how many times I played a game like Borderlands and my guy walked himself
off a cliff on his own I don't know how to fix it though, sorry, I just know that all 3 of my controllers have this problem and a few friends' have the exact same issue.

You might do a search on YouTube though about it. I do remember seeing a video on how to possibly fix the problem but it sounded a bit complex and I don't want to risk damaging the controller by trying it. Good luck.
