Xbox controller 3.5 mm jack bent when headset was bent plugged in

So my Xbox one controller's 3.5mm jack got bent when I accidentally bent my headset while it was plugged in. Of course, this bent the jack on the headphones and only one side works with audio unless it's bent a certain direction. The plug on the controller
was bent slightly on the outside, and I'm assuming this messed with the wiring or circuits or whatever inside of the 3.5 mm jack. I've tried plugging multiple headphones into it and none of them had audio so I know it's not just the broken headset, the controller
inside is broken in some way. Is there any way to fix this or a place I can take my controller to get it fixed? I'd rather not have to cough up 60$ for another controller because of a simple screw up. (A picture wouldn't be helpful with this, the bend on
the outside of the jack is barely visible with a picture.)

    :)

Will Razer Kraken Pro Work On New Controllers?

Razer Kraken Pro 2015 headset is the PC version and they have a 3.5 mm jack so yes they should be compatible with the new xbox one 3.5 mm controller.

  3. Possible to use Xbox 360 headset + 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter with new 3.5 mm Xbox One controller?

I have an Xbox 360 wired headset with a 2.5 mm jack, combined with a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter I got from Monoprice. When I connect them to the new 3.5 mm jack Xbox One controller, I can hear audio from the console but it doesn't seem to pick up anything
from me at all. Is this expected, or am I doing something wrong?

    Hi

I think the option to repair controllers is now only available if the controller is still under warranty apart from that you will most likely need to purchase a replacement.

Alternately you may be able to purchase the
    stereo headset adapter
    ,
    stereo headset
(that I think comes with the adapter) or
    chatpad
that should allow you to connect your headset to it.

    Sandberg Headset issues....

The Xbox One does not support USB headsets, you need a headset that can plug in the 3.5 mm jack socket in the controller, or a wireless headset compatible with Xbox One.

    Headset

If your controller has a 3.5 mm jack for a headset then just plug them in. If the controller does not have that then you would need to get an adapter.

The jack of the Xbox controller

    Hey there Nic,

Was this part of a Console Bundle? Also when was this purchased? As mentioned in "Xbox One controller and headset compatibility"

"As of June 2015, new Xbox One Wireless Controllers will include a 3.5-mm port so users can connect a compatible 3.5-mm audio jack directly to the controller."

If your controller does not have the 3.5-mm audio jack then it is possible that it is an older model.

    I hope this helps.
