Xbox controlled (Design Lab - 1 month old) stopped working with headset(s)

my friends online, or I can't join or host a multiplayer game with my Xbox One".

Yes, when I was on the call with the Microsoft person she had me do a reset. I did the one that allowed us to save our games and apps. I added our profiles back in and that still did not help.

We tried 3 of our 5 controllers

We tried 3 different headsets.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the current issue you may be having with one of your Xbox One Controller. I recommend to take a look at the following troubleshooting resources:

• Make sure your Headset is firmly plugged into your controller.

Try your Stereo Headset and Stereo Headset Adapter on
another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
updating the first controlleragain.
If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
Xbox Online Service Center.

You might like to try doing a firmware update on the controller

Go to Settings > Kinect and Devices > Devices and Accessories >

Click the button with the 3 dots "..."

Click the firmware update even if it shows no updates and follow on screen prompts
