Xbox continues to disconnect then reconnect to internet.

just the other day my xbox tried connecting to my wifi and after about 15 seconds it disconnected. Another 15 seconds and it tries to reconnect. It continues to go back and forth between connected and disconnected within this 15 second period. This has occured
from two seperate routers from 2 diffrent locations, which leads me to believe it cant be blamed On the internet connection but something happening with the xbox.

disconnect from the internet in unplug your xbox for 10 minutes in then reconnect every thing

What worked for me was to disconnect the console from the internet, turn it on then reconnect it to the internet.

Before fully blaming the console you will need to test a few more things firstly you should carry out hard resets to both your console and router if this does not resolve the issue you will then need to log into your router and if possible try switching
the transmission channel as the 2.4Ghz spectrum is pretty crowded now and very prone to connection issues.

Finally if you router supports this and you have not already done so switch to using the 5Ghz as it runs faster and is less prone to interferance.

Hello, I tried the steps you gave to me and unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem. The drive still disconnects, but then it immediately reconnects. It is disconnecting then reconnecting continuously.

is extremely common, my understanding its wifi interference. This thread will most likely be closed in no time, there has been many forum post like yours and they just get directed to some troubleshooter which will not fix the issue.
