Xbox continually freezing on Minecraft only

I don't understand, but lately my Xbox 360 S has been freezing quite a bit. The funny thing is that it only happens on Minecraft. Is this a game issue? I've also had my console for 1 1/2 years, so I don't know if my console needs repair. All I know is that
I really hope not to drop some money for this.

Minecraft won't stop freezing...

Even when I go through the inventory tutorial, Minecraft freezes. It's only Minecraft that's freezing by the way, my Xbox 360 doesn't and I can dashboard.

Its continually freezing for a lot of gamers, Lionhead Studios at their best.

 

Delete the game, clear your cache, then re-download it. The game is probably corrupt.

 

Ok, worked for a short amount of time. Was just playing offline, then all of a sudden, BAM! Froze again. I don't think this is the issue.

 

Another thing I forgot to mention: it only freezes if it hasn't saved/autosaved in the previous 30 minutes (which is why Autosave Interval is set to 15 minutes, which is rather annoying).

 

I have had a lot of problems with minecraft freezing. What I do is as soon as I get into the game, I set a few blocks and then save the game manually. For some strange reason this will usually keep it from freezing. I can not say it will work for you, but
can't hurt to try it.

 

What is strange is that it hasn't been happening until TU 13 came out, then this started happening gradually. I know it isn't the update, because I deleted the update and reinstalled it for corruption multiple times.

 

STILL can't edit my text, because "I don't have permission to", so I'll post this again. I always mine/place blocks any time, including at bootup, so I don't believe this will work.

 

Any suggestions on what to try next?
