    Xbox Content Blocks


    Hey! I use my xbox offline 95% of the time due to being in a rural area, and i have noticed that when i go offline I lose my content blocks on the home screen. It says simply "sorry we can't get your content blocks
    at the moment they should be back soon". Im just wondering is there a way to view these content blocks while offline?

    These "content blocks" usually contain information for timed sales, advantages of your Gold membership and other up to date content like E3 streams and the likes.

    These blocks are therefore filled with online content and if you're offline, they can't get any information to display.

    So, the message you get is perfectly normal, and if you keep up with news around Xbox through the Xbox Wire website or Major Nelson's blog, you don't miss anything in these content blocks.

    Why would you need to block content when you are offline?
    Content blocks as in game icons or a games list on the home screen

    Not to my knowledge as a lot of in game data and app data is stored in the cloud ☁️. Even in game icons when you put a disc in will change depending on if you are online or not.
