    Digital games on console question

So, reading up about this, it seems the Xbox 360 DRM controls have changed now too, so either console you can change your home console every four months.

Digital Rights Management | Xbox Licence Transfer | Xbox DRM - Xbox.com

You don't need any kind of kit, just go to Xbox.com for your 360, or in the Xbox One dashboard and change your home console.

The one difference I identify between the two systems is the console license on the 360 assigns to the console the game is first downloaded to, whereas the One, it's whatever your home console is regardless of where you download it.

    Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about your console woes. :/ My best advice would be to follow any troubleshooting steps on Xbox.com, or to search for any error codes here: Xbox Error Status Codes | Xbox Support

I would advise you to make sure your console is in a well ventilated area, not blocked by anything, and that you consider using a compressed air can on and around the air vents every month, as part of general maintenance, to blow out any dust that may be
causing issues. If you do have to send your console in, regrettably, there is not much else we can do, besides follow the steps to create a service order, via this page:
Xbox One : Warranty and service

Hope this helps get your console back up and running again.

Sorry to hear about this. Luckily console warranties are put in place for a reason and usually cover repair costs and fixes when the warranty is intact, call 18004myxbox(18004699269) to check console warranty status.
