Xbox consoles and controllers

The headset should work on an Xbox One controller and Xbox Series S/X controllers.

Turn off the controller by holding the Xbox button on the controller until the controller turns off and unplug the headset.

On your console press and hold the Xbox console button until the console turns off, remove the power cord from the console, and wait 1 minute.

Plug the power cord into your console again, turn on the console with your controller, and when you see your console's dashboard connect the headset to the controller and see if that solves the problem.

Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.

Thank you for your reply. Do you know whether a controller is compatible with Minecraft Pocket Edition? I’ve been trying to find some info but nothing really comes up.

You don't need to own an Xbox or Microsoft account, you don't even need to update the controller firmware. If you want to use an Xbox One Controller or Series controller on your iPhone you can just buy one and pair it via Bluetooth. This Apple support page explains how.

Make sure your controller is up to date by checking for updates on your Xbox console.

Try resetting your controller by pressing the sync button on the controller and the console.

Make sure that your controller is properly connected to your Xbox console, either wirelessly or with a USB cable.

Try using a different controller or a wired controller to see if the issue is specific to your controller.

Check for any updates for Minecraft on your Xbox console.
