Xbox console with broken wireless controller receptor

This probably damaged the card that makes the connection between the console and the controllers.

If your Xbox model is the Xbox One S, X, or Series S/X you can repair it with Microsoft.

Microsoft does not repair the Original One model, in this case, I recommend taking the console for repair at a store in your city.

If you haven't done it before, resetting the console might help.

Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

Any clue if when the Xbox one wireless PC adapter comes out, could we use this adapter onto the same xbox and replace the internal receptor by the adapter, making it an external wireless controller receptor?

Some people like me cant send the console for replacement for several reasons so we just have to live with it, in my case, I tried everything and the only way to play is struggling for an stable connection facing directly to the Xbox, and this is still not
very reliable.

I was also looking into the possibility of using the Cronusmax dongle to use a PS4 controller with the Xbox one, hope MS does not delete my post because of what Im saying.

Try to use the controller with a usb cable attached to the console.

I had that problem with my wireless headphones. I stopped to see what I was doing different from last time they were working and then realize that I plugged the usb cable from the receptor to the tv instead of the Xbox. So I reconnected the usb cable from
the receptor directly into the Xbox and it started to work again.
