    Just a simple question, why is that warranty period shows less at Microsoft website on a Xbox console even thou I should have more warranty period when i purchased in South Africa?

    It must be the manufacturing date just make sure that you still have the proof of purchase of the console. Please make sure to keep it in a safe place. It really depends on the date of purchase that's where the warranty starts.

    Thank you for feedback.

    I bought the Xbox console in Dec 2022 and registered it with Microsoft website, and according to their website the warranty period till Sep 2023 , which does make any sense, supposed to be a year warranty.

    I have already encountered a problem with the console and send it in, but the warranty dates how do I get it rectified with Microsoft as there is no support there to help. Even with the console repair centre at Microsoft, no support there no contact number, no help. This is really sad for a business with no contact number. And I'm a loyal Xbox customer.

    How long will a console fix take if you have experienced it.

    Yes, it should be a one-year warranty, I'm sorry but this is a community forum and we are unable to change the warranty for your console here. You will have to dispute the warranty by contacting them through this link, https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us.

    Click "Contact Us" then Hardware & Network > Warranty, Service & Repair > Choose your console > Then input warranty dispute. then click the see contact options.

    Remove all accessories from the Xbox console or Kinect sensor, and remove any discs from the Xbox hard drive.
    If you send them, you probably won’t get them back.



    If the repair center sends them back it will be within 10-14 business days from when you received your repair back.
