Xbox console language independence from region

Hello everyone,

I have my console on the Austrian store, and it was not possible to select Austria unless I choose German as my console language.

This language affects not only the language of the console interface, but also the default language of any game installed.

In some games it is possible to change the game language from inside the game itself, but for a lot of others it is not possible.

I would like to play all my games in English, which is a very big problem I am currently facing.

Is there any work around to this problem ?

I've read somewhere that it is possible to change to console language online, since it is not possible on the console, although someone from Microsoft support claimed it is also possible on the console.

Is there a web interface to do so ? or is there something I can change to switch my default language to English ?

Change idiom of xbox one.

For the moment the region you chose determines the language of your games so unless you move your region you can't play in english.

Yet there is good news as in the E3 xbox declared language region independence. Microsoft will enable Language Region Independence, giving gamers the ability to choose any supported language on Xbox One, regardless of their location.

Unfortunately this is not currently possible - each region has a pre-determined set of languages available.

However, this feature is one of the most popular suggestions on the Xbox Feedback site, and you can voice your support for it by upvoting it here:

xbox.uservoice.com/.../6028840-don-t-region-lock-the-languages

Xbox goes by the loffical languages of majority set by your local Congress

And 360 games like red dead redemption is region locked

well first you need to match your account region to your actual region

2nd and very important

Set your console and language to your nationally supported language

And yes gears checks for languages

So France account French region but uk language = fail

French account French region and console and French language = bliss

UK account French actual region and uk language = fail

If you do not live in an Xbox live region you are going to fail all 3 conditions anyqays and there is no fix

if you cannot set hungary up as an xbox one region then you can't redeem it on the Xbox one

As someone already posted he cannot select hungary as a language it's means it's not a Xbox one region
