    Xbox console freezing/crashing


    Hello so im asking for a friend of mines im an xbox amabassador ive tried to help with her situation with her xbox one console that keeps crashing and freezing also with a certain game that wont reinstall when she wants to do so (gta5) ive gone over the
    steps with her none of them helped out im here to see if maybe we can take an extra step i mighy not know about or what should we do for the next step to help this gamer get back to gaming thank you in advance for your time.

    Could a game that freeze stop working damage the console?

    No, it can't damage the console. The only problem is some times this freeze provoke the crash of the console.

    Does the game tend to crash/freeze/lock-up at the same moment? Or is it sporadic?

    Game freezing can be somewhat unpredictable, and hard to resolve (especially in older and BC titles that are outside of the development cycle). Sometimes it's the console that causes the problem, if I get game crashes or freezes I try to power cycle the console
    and I usually have a good response with that. Give it a shot!

    It seems like it crashes on Xbox series consoles only because when I play on my one, there's no crashes or freezes once I reach the other side of the board gliding. So I think it's a series console issue that I hope they fix soon
