Xbox Console Companion & Xbox App never seem to work properly.

I'm on PC. Most of my friends have an Xbox One of some kind. When i want to join their party, it's mostly ok, apart from when one particular person wants me to join them, and that happens to be the one i talk to most. Whenever they invite me to a party,
Il get the notification on my phone. In Console Companion, it doesn't even show up. When i go to join the party on my phone, it adds me, but then says that every other member of that party is Disconnected, or sometimes just doesn't let me join at all. Very
rarely can i ever actually join. This is also an issue with Minecraft for Windows 10, as they will not show up on the friends list in game, and won't be joinable from their profile even when i've been invited to a private session with them. What's going on
to stop it from working?

Extra details:

- I am not blocked.

- We have both added eachother.

- In MC:WIN10 they invite me to their private session.

Hey, I think i had this same problem before and the thing that worked was when i invited the people instead of joining their invites. If you haven't tried that it should work!

It suddenly decided to work. Everything’s fine now..

Are the apps up to date through Windows Store? Also if you right click on the apps, then click more, then app settings you will be able to reset or repair the apps.
