Xbox console companion wont send notifications anymore.

Hello, so recently my console companion app will no longer send notifications to my notification center or anywhere else. It sends it to the xbox game bar overlay in which I don't want it to. Anyone have a solution?

Try go in notifications in Right-Down from Your Screen, so then click on notifications > All Settings then Search by Notification and see if the Notification from Xbox Console Companion is ative

please try to see what happens when you turn the Game bar off withing the Settings on Windows 10.

You can also try to see what happens when you try and install the beta version for the Companion app, it should be available in the store to be downloaded and installed.

Hey there

Has far has i understand it the companion app old name xbox app doesnt have party chat or notes for some things like game invites and party invites these are now done though game bar.

The app itsself is a compaion app for things like streaming too PC checking the store messages

I see some issues on my end. I am not quite certain if the updates changed the notification style. I would imagine the updates did it because I am no longer receiving party invites from the Xbox Console Companion anymore. Now I have to use my Game Bar
to join. Maybe Game Bars are taking over.

Hello! Sorry for the late response. I already own the beta version and have tried disabling game bar. Both ways dont work.
