Xbox Console Companion Windows 11

he is using windows 11, streaming from console can be done in the xbox app now, no need for the companion app.

The console companion app is for windows 8 and like windows 8 support for it has been discontinued. You need to use the Xbox app that's built into windows 10/11

Console companion app is no longer supported like the rest of Windows 8

We understand that you are trying to removed your account from being connected to Xbox Console Companion app. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

Based on your description, you have tried to perform troubleshooting related to your concern by going unto Credential Manager. We would like to know few details about this and suggest troubleshooting that you can try.

• Did we encounter an error message/code when you are trying to remove or log out of your account? Please post a screenshot and conceal any personal information.
  
• May we ask if you have checked this specific account is login to the apps - Xbox app, Xbox Game Bar and Microsoft Store?
  
• When did this issue happen? Was there a recent Windows update or new application installed on your device?
  

Suggested troubleshooting:

1. Update PC including Optional update, please see guide: Update Windows.
   
2. Restart device and disable antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer.
   
3. Note: Before proceeding, please make sure you know your Xbox account credentials.
   
   Log out your account from these apps Xbox app and Microsoft Store (if possible and if you will encounter issues please take a screenshot).
   
4. Repair or reset Xbox app, Xbox Console Companion and Microsoft Store.
   
   Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Select the app you want to fix. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the Microsoft Store. On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available, select Reset.
   
5. Clear the store cache by typing “wsreset” in the Windows search bar. Run this as admin and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
   
6. Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your PC:
   
   Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
   In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
   
   Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
