Discus and support Xbox Console Companion will not stop displaying my game info on their website no matter... in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have gone into Xbox privacy settings and set everything to Block.     I have gone into Xbox privacy settings and set everything to Block. I have Set my PC to block all background apps. I do not have the Xbox game bar running (so windows G) will not open up anything and I have uninstalled the xbox app from my PC. In my task
    Manager nothing shows up under Xbox.

    I do not use the Xbox App nor have an Xbox nor want anything to do with this software. I do not want in on my PC let alone running in the background gathering my activity and uploading it so a public webpage.

    I am aware it is still doing this as i can see it by looking at my younger sisters xbox app (who does not live with me).

    My questions is How can I stop it from doing this? Please someone because it is making me go bonkers trying to figure it out

    The game " The orange box" doesn't display in game library

    The most interesting thing is that on the Xbox website the game is displayed in my profile, but not on the console itself

    I'd like to gather a bit more info in regards to this matter.

    1. Are you able to view your friends list on the
      Xbox website      ?
    2. Are you able to see any of your friends via the
      Xbox Console Companion app      .
    3. Are you able to send any messages using any of these alternative methods?

    If you can provide for us this info, we might be able to provide much more appropriate troubleshooting steps to address this further.

    Hi,

    You can change your online Status on PC via the Game Bar. Press and hold the Windows Key and
    tap G on the keyboard.

    Or with an Xbox controller attached to the PC, access the Game Bar by pressing the
    Xbox button.

    Depending on how the Game Bar is set up on the PC a number of Windows will be displayed. Showing as Online or Offline is available in the Xbox Social window. To configure the game bar to your liking, press the Overlay Menu, next
    to the time. This will allow you to change what Windows of the Game Bar are displayed.

    In addition to the above excellent info.

    If you install the Xbox (Beta) app, you can also control your Online/Offline status from that. It will leave the app running in the background and you can click on the Xbox Logo in the Taskbar (bottom right, where the clock is) and you can change your Presence
    status from there.

    This app also lets you interact with over gamers over chat etc

    The HDMI connection on a laptop is usually an HDMI out connection, meaning it can connect to another display, but not become another display.

    The only way you could use the laptop as a display for your Xbox, is to stream the game from your Xbox, by using the Xbox Console Companion app on your laptop.
