Xbox Console Companion Glitch

So i use as of lately i have been unable to use the Xbox Companion app on my PC and i have no idea why. I use my mic by plugging it into my controller and then plugging it into my PC, and that as always worked. but like 4 to 5 days ago it just randomly
stopped and i have tried contacting Microsoft twice and that cannot find the issue. WHAT HAPPENS- when i join a party it will fully connect me and no errors are present at all. but when i try to talk to my friends my blip will move but my friends will not
be able to hear me and i cannot hear them ether (mind you my mic still works on my Xbox one). so its not my mic, its not my controller. And yes i have REPEATABLY checked all my settings and there good even checked if there were any updates etc, uninstalling
and reinstalling dont even affect this bug. Sooooo...... i have no idea what to do, no one really has any idea what is going on, and i have no idea what is going on. And i have see a few ppl asking around about this like on the forums and youtube but to no
luck. So if anyone has a fix please let me know.

Hi I Think with the Xbox Console Companion and the Xbox(Beta) is test version yet, I suggest you make a Bug Report to then the Developer team can fix it

that's a visual glitch for sure, try the above suggestions, also check on the xbox app companion or webste to see your gt there

To be sure, are you using the Xbox app or the Console Companion App? Party chat has been discontinued for the Console Companion App.

Anyone have a glitch where they enter shimmermist cave and have the screen freeze..causing the whole console to freeze..not even allowing me to bring up the dashboard?

I started a new quest with the companions, am level 14, and I have traveled to shimmermist cave and have entered it with no problems.

Any thoughts? Because I would like to continue my companions quests.

The APP was updated and is simply called the Console Companion. The Beta APP and the console companion are pretty much identical at the moment so I think you only need the console companion which is the newest version. I have the beta app which updated
and is now simply called Xbox (beta) as I said there is no discernable difference.
