Xbox Console Companion - Cross-Platform Party Chat Issues

For the past while I've been playing Fortnite and Rocket League cross-platform with my Xbox One friends. I play on PC Windows 10. It was actually really great because the Xbox Console Companion app allowed me to voice-chat with them through an Xbox party
chat.

This past week whenever I join their Xbox party chats I don't hear anything. It takes a second to connect, shows that I'm in the party, registers that I am talking but I can't hear anyone. At first I thought it was an audio issue but it does not appear to
be. Staying in the chat eventually gives me an error message that says:

"We are unable to connect to Xbox Live at the moment - the service may be down. [0x8923103D]"

If I go into the setting and check the network:

Internet Connection: Connected

Xbox Live Services: Up and running

NAT type: Moderate

Server connectivity: Connected

Latency: (Multiple tests run anywhere between 50-90ms)

Packet loss: (Multiple tests run anywhere between 3-5%)

I've also tried using the Xbox (beta) app, I get the same issue of connecting but never hearing anyone.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Hi Toby,

I have exactly the same issue, but I'm on xbox one.

Whenever a PC-friend joins the party via the xbox app it cuts out all my audio.

I can't hear anyone (mic indicator still blinks when I talk) I hear nothing, no one hears me..

After a short while I get the error 0x8923103d.

This gets triggerd 2-3 seconds after someone joins via the xbox app.

I'm the only one of my friends who encounters this problem.

All my privacy settings & (NAT) are open (static IP).

I used port forwarding to try and fix it, heck I even tested it by connecting straight to the modem.

Problem keeps occuring. (No problem communicating while in "gamechat").

Anyone knows a fix?
