XBOX Console Companion Captures Are Not Loading

XBOX Console Companion gets worse with every update - when I select the captures icon and select to view captures 'On XBOX Live' the thumbnails load on the left, but the captures do not load on the right. The primary issue is when I select 'download' a file is generated in my downloaded captures destination folder, but that file remains at 0 bytes and is corrupt. There are no issues downloading/viewing captures via the XBOX iPhone app, but on Windows 10, XBOX Console Companion I cannot view or download my captures even though the thumbnails load - this is extremely frustrating!

I've reset my computer, network adapter, and the XBOX Console app... nothing works!

I was double-checking this in my PC to see if there is an issue with the current console companion app version but that wasn't my case (downloading clips works as well)

May I know if you tried reinstalling the Xbox Console companion app instead of repair and reset it?

If yes, what about signing from your account on all Xbox apps, then restart the PC and try again

And in order to isolate the problem a bit more, can you try testing the Xbox Console companion app in a different PC?

I was doing the same thing. I used my Xbox as a game capture device so that I could stream that to the console companion and have OBS capture the console companion for Mixer. I didn't have money for a capture device, so I was pretty disappointed to find
I couldn't capture my games through my Xbox anymore.

i can upload captures normally for most of the games i have but there are some games that the xbox companion app doesn't upload, like Mass Effect 1 and Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster, using the xbox companion beta i was able to upload captures of these games
but now microsoft has disabled permanently the option to upload captures using the xbox companion beta. So my question is, why the xbox companion app don't upload captures and clips of this particular games? and if there is a way to solve it?

which xbox app? i know there's a new app but i can't find the option to upload captures to xbox live using it, the one that is for game pass, i can only upload captures using the xbox console companion but as i said there are a few games that i can't upload
captures.
