Xbox Console Companion App Windows 10 Mic Buzz

I play Call of duty: Modern Warfare with my friends on xbox (me being on pc) there is no discord app on xbox so we communicate through a party on the companion app and for some reason my mic has an annoying buzz (Astros A50). Ive read many threads on this
trying their fixes and none have worked and I'm on the verge of giving up. Please help.

I have the same issue. Changed the settings but there is still buzzing. Additionally since windows has updated since the last guide some of the options arent there.

i found this solution from back in 2018 not sure if you've tried it but could give it a go.

" Right click sound icon on bottom right, select recording devices, highlight your mic device, select properties, advanced tab, change bit rate to DVD quality 2 channel 16 bit 48000 hz. "

Mic only buzzes on xbox app and companion and my friends can't stand it. Works fine in discord and on xbox one w/ my controller but makes terrible sounds on xbox's app. Tried changing the bit rate in the properties and it did nothing and reinstalling
and also just built a new PC and got a new headset while having this problem on my old one so it must be Microsoft's end and I'm really fed up with it. Any help is appreciated.

Hey it could also just be interference with how its connected to your pc, it sometimes happens to me on the xbox when i have controller plugged in to charge. If its possible you could try a different port or make sure the lead isnt laying over something
electrical that could interfere
