    When I create a party and others join it says under there names that they are connecting but they never connect they said they could hear each other but not me also when I join other peoples parties it just says I'm connecting and I never end up connecting
    and it does the same for the Xbox game bar

    You can still change it on the console and through the Console Companion app (not the Xbox app) on the PC.

    If you're doing it through the PC, use the Console Companion app, not the Xbox app.

    In the Xbox console companion app on my PC, there is no option for voice invites like on my phone, I get the invites through game bar but still nothing through the Xbox console companion app

    Try using the Xbox app, not the Xbox Console Companion. There's a new Xbox app that is for the PC Game Pass.
