    Xbox Console Companion App on PC and game bar on PC


    I'm considering selling my xbox one because I primarily play on pc now ever since Microsoft started releasing their exclusives on pc. I'm just wondering if I can still use these apps to talk to my friends on xbox as they don't play on pc right now?

    Player30219361 is showing on any Xbox game on PC on either single-player or multiplayer games, it is also showing on Xbox Console Companion, but not on Xbox app or game bar

    Verify that you have the notifications active in the "Xbox console companion" app and in the "Game Bar".

    Also check that they are active for these applications in the PC settings > System > Notifications.

    This would be the 3rd time I have said I have checked my PC notification settings. Hell I built my own i9 PC and tournie website and am pretty sure I checked the settings today.

    Let me re-iterate that on Xbox you see party invites and the Xbox companion app should do the same.

    Not via game bar, not via PC but by the app I'm using which is the main app anyway. Why would I want a mini game bar version I may have to refer to, if talking in companion? Who decides these things? Do they ever stream on PC using an Xbox console and Companion?
    Theres enough to monitor already.
