    XBox Console Companion App (legacy and Beta) Audio Delay


    I'm trying to set up streaming to my Windows 10 PC using the console companion app. Both the console and my PC are connected to a gigabit network switch with cables so no wifi is involved. The streaming works fine but the audio lags behind the video by
    about a quarter second or so. It does this regardless of which quality settings I use for streaming. Has anyone else experienced this and been able to solve it? It's driving me bananas.

    Xbox (Beta) Windows 10 App

    The APP was updated and is simply called the Console Companion. The Beta APP and the console companion are pretty much identical at the moment so I think you only need the console companion which is the newest version. I have the beta app which updated
    and is now simply called Xbox (beta) as I said there is no discernable difference.

    You have been intended to use the Xbox app built into windows since Windows 10 launched in 2015.

    Sorry to hear it. I would recommend opening the Xbox Console Companion on your PC and ensure that you're signed in as the proper account. If you are not then please sign out then delete the beta app. Sign your gamertag into the console companion then
    redownload the beta app. This should solve the issue.
