XBOX console comes up wrong and stops

Sometimes my XBOX One comes up to the screen that is green and it says XBOX ONE and that is where it stays.

It is only when I turn it on does it do this. I cannot get the game disc to play. The unit is about 3 years old? I know I got it when the new Red Dead II came out.

Any ideas??

Yeah, I have recycled the power. I have even unplugged the unit for hours and then retried it.

This is only the second time that it has done this, but this time it seems to be like it will never start and run right.

The unit is not that old, it is not used by anybody but me and I use it rarely.

My old Xbox still works after many years of use and it is used by my grandkids and you know how preteens are with anything.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with a blank screen. We recommend trying out the
troubleshoot wizard for blank screen. Please be sure to try all of these
and let us know. If still having issue not seeing anything you may want to think on getting the console repaired. You can set one up on the

Well first of all the screen is only blank for a minute before the picture of the computer chip comes up, followed by the green XBOX screen and that is where it stops.

When I tried to reset the unit by pushing the XBOX button on the console along with the eject button, it never beeped a second time after holding both for about 1 minute.
