Xbox connects to the internet but no xbox live.

Xbox connects to the internet but no xbox live.

I'm having an issue where I cant connect to live. It tells me to connect to the internet and when I test my connection it says everything is good. I've tried hard resetting, clearing persistent storage, clearing alternate mac address, hard resetting and
unplugging my power bar for 1 min, tried removing my account and now I cant get it because it says i'm not connected to the internet. Now I've tried factory resetting and I can't get passed the update screen cause it says I have no internet connection and
I test it and everything is good. This is very frustrating.

Also, I was able to get an update before this all happened.

Router brand & model number: My modem is my router

Wired or wireless: Wireless

Things you have tried: Explained Above

Is UPnP Enabled? Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Says my NAT is Open

Any Error Codes you encounter: N/A

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Cablevision

 

Update Issues

When testing my connection my Xbox can connect to the network, the network can connect to the internet but the internet cant connect to XBOX live. I'm sure it could when i tried it last week, so thats new. Restarted the modem just in case but no luck

 

sound like it's time to trade in your xbox one for a ps4

 

Same here. I live in Texas.

 

Live in California. Was worried it was just my system.

Unable to sign in to Xbox Music on Windows 8.

I get the error message that I am offline when My connection is fine...

It's crazy £420 down the drain on some thing that doesn't even work fully bunch of con artists really

 

it's not enough that I pay the full $25 a month after paying a fortune for this xbox one, that I rarely even use. Every time I turn it on, I have to either wait for an update, reboot the machine, hope the service is up and running, hope the app is up and
running. Not once have I ever had an error free session. What a piece of crap this thing is. Now I sit locked out of Netflix by the live service being down and I guess I have to reinstall my apple tv.

Time to cut my losses on this thing, $25 a month jeeze.
