Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT?: Last time I saw my NAT on xbox was moderate

Any Error Codes you encounter: Network Key is Invalid(Even though that is false); It says my console can't connect to xbox live then when I test it, it fails to connect to the internet

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?: Comcast/ Xfinity

I am able to connect to the internet on every single device in my house except the xbox. The xbox connects to my network but not my internet. Our internet at the house was a little buggy so we called comcast and they sent people here to see what
was happening. They comcast workers told us that the **** modem had a built in gateway so we connected our computer, the phones, and the tablets to the **** modem instead of our old router and it fixed the internet and worked better and faster than the router
we had. Then when I went to connect my xbox to the new network, it connected to it but not the internet. Note:I have had this xbox for 2 years and had no problem like this and I also tried hooking up my old router again to see if that would make a difference
but the same thing happened, connected to the network but not the internet. If anyone could please tell me what was wrong and how to fix it please respond.

I suggest Resetting the Factory (Network) Settings: Tap the silver Guide button again, go 2 clicks to the right, choose Settings, System Settings, Network Settings, then choose your connection (WIRED if Ethernet, otherwise the
SSID of your WiFi connection), then Configure Network. Copy down the settings for IP (auto/manual, IP addresse, subnet mask and gateway) as well as DNS (auto/manual, primary DNS server, secondary DNS server), then go one click right to Additional settings.
If anything is _not_ blank or Not Set, make a note of those settings as well, then go to the bottom and choose Restore to Factory Defaults and confirm. Then power down the console, wait 8 secs or more, power back up and reconnect.

These methods didnt work except for the MAC address method which i have not tried.

 

Alright I would recommend trying all possible solutions that are from the support website. If that one doesn't work then post back with more info.

 

See, that is the problem right there I have no clue how to do that. If you could explain how to authorize the MAC address then I could do it.

There has been a known issue for years that the Xbox 360's internal wireless network adapter may not be able to connect wireless with the ARRIS TG862G/CT, or intermittent disconnections.

Please read:

Confirm that your gateway's firmware version is up-to-date and not prior to version 7.6.59c. Here's how:

If it's possible, try use an Ethernet cable instaed of wireless and verify if you can connect properly to Live.

If you haven't already, go ahead and reset your console's network settings to factory defaults, by going into Xbox
Network settings and Configure Network. Select the
Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults. Afterwards, restart your console.

Post back and let us know what you find out.

 

My software version is 7.6.59S I don't know if that is prior to 7.6.59c but I have tried restoring my network settings many times but nothing happened.

 

If it's possible, try connect with an Ethernet cable instead and let us know how that goes.

 

Today I hooked my xbox up with the Ethernet cable and it worked but I still want to use wireless if I can.

 

Out of curiosity, can you connect properly, by turning off the security method for your WLAN (WPA2)?

Access your router's web-utility interface and navigate to LAN, DHCP. Let me know if you find an option to reserv an IP (DHCP reservation, IP reservation).

Ok!

Ask your ISP, regarding the possibility to replace your current gateway with a modem, that has no router/NAT capability built-in. Then you can choose from a "wide" range of routers that are well-known, to work and support, communication with the Xbox 360.

Use a wired solution.
